PUCHEROS+
Pontificia Universidad Católica High Echelle Resolution Optical Spectrograph Plus
PUCHEROS+ is an upgrade of the original instrument, PUCHEROS. This improved version was installed at the refurbished ESO 1.52 m telescope at La Silla Observatory in September 2022. Its cost-effective and high-performance design was engineered by the Center of Astro-Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (AIUC) and its advanced software was developed by BlueShadows.

PUCHEROS+ includes a substantial number of improvements, mainly: a new scientific detector, improved objective optics, calibration system, guiding, active thermal control, and remote observing mode.
